Relentless glorious sunshine, and all we want is to stay outside under it’s happy glow. Therefore blog-writing and other indoor activities have had to be neglected. However the High Bank roses are coming into their own and so here is a stolen moment to stop and enjoy them.
The ‘Lark Ascending’ our new recruit to the High Bank Rose collection, after a very happy day trip to David Austin Roses last summer. Already at its tender age this stunning Rose has 33 buds! The delicate colour is enhanced by the soft lemon centre which hints at a light from within. Another David Austin Rose ‘Lady’s Blush’. A stunning single flower. An unnamed though intensely scented Rose. A mass of blushed pink flowers.
